With PRF
Microneedling with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that can help rejuvenate the skin:
How it works
A small amount of the patient's blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets and fibrin, creating PRF. The PRF is then applied to the skin while fine needles puncture the skin, creating tiny injuries that stimulate healing.
Benefits
Microneedling with PRF can help with dark spots, under-eye bags, fine lines, wrinkles, and dull skin. It can also help reduce acne scars and volume loss.
Results
The skin may appear red and flushed immediately after the procedure and may be
swollen, dry, and tight for a few days. The skin is usually fully healed by day 7. Most patients see the best results after a series of 3-4 treatments, but the number of treatments needed depends on the patient's skin quality and goals.
Frequency
For optimal results, PRF microneedling is typically recommended once every four to six weeks.
